SUMMARY:'Rise Above' Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:August 15th through Aug 17th\, the Aviation Museum will bring in an historic P-51 Mustang fighter plane as part of ‘Rise Above\,’ an inspirational traveling exhibit from the Commemorative Air Force that salutes the achievements of the Tuskegee Airmen as well as the WASP (Women’s Airforce Service Pilots) of World War II.\n\n\nIt’s the only appearance this year in the Northeast U.S. of this popular exhibit\, which is designed to inspire young people with the legendary stories of how the Tuskegee Airmen and the Women’s Air Service Pilots overcame adversity in their time.\n\nThe Aviation Museum raised enough donations to cover all costs of this summer’s visit of the Commemorative Air Force ‘Rise Above’ visit and make it free to all to attend.\nIt’s a great way for families to learn about and remember the sacrifices of earlier generations of aviators—and might spark a young person’s interest in aviation and aerospace! Stay tuned for more info about the Commemorative Air Force ‘Rise Above’ touring exhibit. The exhibit is scheduled to be at the Aviation Museum of N.H. from Friday\, Aug. 15 through Sunday\, Aug. 17\, 2025 as part of this year’s PlaneFest! celebration. More info coming soon! #aviationmuseumofnh #commemorativeairforce #tuskegeeairmen

SUMMARY:TONIGHT - Nick Infantino Presenting at Aviation Museum of New Hampshire - TONIGHT
DESCRIPTION:Coming Thursday\, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m.: Join us at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire for a presentation by member Nick Infantino of Nashua on his experiences volunteering as a crew member on historic B-24 and B-29 warbirds still flying today! Nick got hooked on flight as a young kid visiting the Aviation Museum of N.H.; now age 20\, he plans a career as an aircraft mechanic specializing in aircraft restoration. Later this summer\, he’ll leave for his next semester at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona\, Fla.; this presentation is a chance for him to share his passion for flight with others at the Aviation Museum\, the place where it all began! The talk is free\, and might just inspire you—plus\, there will be cake!\n\nAll are welcome; the Aviation Museum is located at 27 Navigator Road\, Londonderry\, N.H. Below\, more info from Nick himself:\n\n“Since 2021\, Nick Infantino has been involved with the Commemorative Air Force\, founding the New England Wing at Hampton Airfield and organizing the acquisition of a PT-23 vintage training aircraft as well as being a part of the B-29/B-24 Squadron as a B-24 Scanner and FE trainee. Nick got his first look at aviation when he was a little kid at events at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire and that’s where his interest grew. Come listen to Nick’s experiences working and flying on the B-24 and B-29 connecting the times of World War II to the 21st century. Nick is currently 20 years old and is a current A&P student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach\, Fla. He aims to stay involved with aircraft restoration and warbird events\, as well as working on aerial firefighting aircraft.”
